“Guys, Phantom will be joining us for breakfast,” Rogers said as he and Captain Becker drew to a stop at the barbecue.

“There’s plenty to go around,” Russo said with a smile. “Pleasure to have you join us, Captain.”

“Please, while we’re in these barracks, we’re all just Rangers. Phantom or Becker is fine.”

“Then, a pleasure to have you, Phantom,” Russo repeated with a smile. “We have steak, eggs, bacon, and toast. What would you like?”

“Everything,” the young captain said with a hungry grin.

“A woman after my own heart,” Vox hissed as he started filling up four plates.

“Why don’t both of you take a seat. Me and Vox will bring it all over.”

Rogers gestured to one of the empty bench tables, and he and Becker headed off.
